I am asking for help to save the life of my grandmother's beloved 9-year-old Finnish Spitz, Kukka, who has a large tumor in her stomach. The vet thinks that an operation to remove it looks promising since she is in good health otherwise.

It was 45 years ago when my grandmother, Christa Iceforest (aka Romppanen), got her first Finnish Spitz from Finland, and through several generations, they have been her joy and beloved companions. She lost three of them last year at the ripe old age of 15, and she is too old to adopt a Finnish Spitz puppy, so Kukka is her last one. We are desperately trying to save her.

The operation is estimated to be $3,000, and with our current income, we cannot pay for this. We hope that we can get help, and any donation would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance, and hug your dogs that supply us with so much joy.
