Save Kora: Urgent Treatment Needed

Hello, everyone. My name is Tayler, and anyone who knows me knows I am a huge animal lover and will go to the end of the earth to help any animal in need, from fostering, taking in as many as I can, finding homes for many, as well as donating supplies to shelters. I'm not one to ask people for help even when I could definitely use it, but at this point, I am desperate for any help. I've recently moved out on my own, and I am already living paycheck to paycheck, as are most, and here lately, it seems as if I can never catch a break. I'm reaching out to you today with a heavy heart. My beloved cat, Kora, has been diagnosed with kidney failure. She is more than just a pet; she’s my first kitty, best friend, sidekick, and my reason for getting out of bed each morning. To some, she’s a cat, but to me, she’s my child and a member of my family. She brings so much joy and love into my life, and it breaks my heart to see her in so much pain at such a young age. She just recently turned 3; I've had her since before her eyes were even open.

Recently, Kora started showing signs of illness: vomiting, lethargy, frequent urination, loss of appetite, hiding, and not wanting any type of attention (she’s normally the biggest love bug). After vet visits and tests, we received the devastating news that she is suffering from kidney failure. The vet has recommended immediate and ongoing treatment to give her the best chance at recovery.

The cost of Kora's treatment is substantial. We are looking at expenses for medications, treatments, blood work, X-rays, ultrasounds, 24-hour care for the next couple of days, and ongoing vet visits. Any amount you can contribute will go directly to Kora's medical care and will help us provide her with the best possible chance to fight this illness and come back home. Kora is a fighter, and we are committed to doing everything we can to support her.
