Save Kongo: A Second Chance at Life
Donation protected
Our rescue dog Kongo has the chance of a lifetime but needs a little assistance to get there! Kongo was rescued from the Lee County Animal Shelter in Sanford, NC, over a month ago on the day of his scheduled euthanasia.
Kongo had been exposed to parvovirus in the shelter and needed an immediate rescue as the shelter needed to go through decontamination. Hand In Hand Pet Rescue stepped up right away and took sweet Kongo to the vet to get a vet check, bloodwork done (Kongo is HW -!), get neutered, microchipped, and get his vaccines administered (rabies, bordetella, and distemper).
Kongo is a Rottweiler and has been given the opportunity to transfer to a Rottweiler-specific rescue!! Here he will be able to get the attention and training specific to his breed!! The rescue would like him to go to Oklahoma, get a health certification for transfer, and a harness, leash, slip lead, and collar.
Hand In Hand Pet Rescue has fallen on hard times lately and could really use your donations to make sure that Kongo gets to his destination and lives the life he truly deserves! Thank you so so much!
