Aloha, I've been Koa's dad since he was two months old. Koa was born in Leilani Estates on the Big Island 10 years ago. The family lost their home to fissure #8 and I adopted Koa at two months old.

Koa and I have been best friends for over ten years. We eat, sleep, and play together.

We live here in Kailua Beach, Oahu, but traveled all over the world together. We've been to my cabin in BC, all over the states, and we usually fly together on Hawaiian Airlines.

Koa has been to Hardware Hawaii almost every single day as I am a local contractor. He's very popular at HH, and when on occasion I don't bring him, everyone says, "Where's Koa?"

Koa recently has been diagnosed with a very aggressive form of Hemangiosarcoma. The tumor needs to be removed immediately or he will die.

I have some pet insurance, but it doesn't come close to covering the costs of surgery, chemotherapy, and care.

I am hoping and praying that my friends can help me help poor Koa...

I love him so much I cannot bear to see him go through this. I only want the best for Koa.
