K.J's Fight to Walk Again - Please Help Us Save His Mobility
Our sweet three-year-old French Bulldog, KJ, is going through the biggest challenge of his young life. Just a few days ago, he lunged after a squirrel - something he's done countless times with his playful, goofy energy. But this time, everything changed. In an instant, KJ collapsed and lost all use of his hind legs.
We rushed him to the emergency hospital, where we learned the heartbreaking news: His disc had ruptured, and he was diagnosed with IVDD (Intervertebral Disc Disease). Without immediate surgery, KJ would permanently lose the ability to walk.
KJ underwent emergency spinal surgery to give him the best chance of recovery, but the cost has been overwhelming. Between the emergency visit, imaging, surgery, and post-operative care, his medical bills are over $15,000 - far beyond what we can manage alone.
KJ is more than just a pet. He is family, he is joy, he is love wrapped in a compact, wiggly, snorting little body. Anyone who has met him knows how affectionate and full of life he is. Seeing him scared and unable to move has been absolutely devastating.
Now he's fighting hard to recover, and we're doing everything we can to help him stand and walk again. Your donation - no matter the amount - will go directly towards KJ's surgery and recovery costs.
If you can't donate, please consider sharing this page. Every share helps bring us closer to giving KJ the life and mobility he deserves.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for helping us give KJ a second chance.
