Save Kiwi: Help Kiley with Medical Expenses

Hello, my name is Kaylee and I am creating this GoFundMe on behalf of Kiley and Kiwi. Earlier today (5/16/25) it appears that Kiwi may have consumed a foreign object, likely a chicken bone, that tore her larynx. Unfortunately, Kiley returned home from work to blood everywhere and a very sick and sad Kiwi.

After being rushed to the nearest veterinary hospital, Kiwi was given immediate care and had several x-rays. The veterinarians decided Kiwi’s situation was too serious for their facilities and she was transferred to a better equipped hospital. Kiwi is currently receiving care from several experts in different departments working to save her. Her surgery has just ended and the vets are working to monitor and help her recover.

Many of you know and love Kiwi, a Hamilton campus icon and celebrity, and we would like to keep you all up to date on her situation. Kiwi has become a best friend to Kiley, me/our roommates, and everyone who has had the pleasure of knowing/living with Kiwi. She truly is a perfect girl and a light in so many lives. Speaking for myself, I had the privilege of living with Kiwi as my first resident pet and she soon became my first love. Kiwi and Kiley both changed my life when I met them senior year of college. And this love doesn’t even hold a candle to the bond between Kiley and Kiwi. They truly are soulmates, and they give each other the best possible lives together. It is, and always will be, Kiwi and Kiley together❤️

Kiley is doing everything she can to give Kiwi the best possible treatment, and as her friends we plan to support them and help in every way we can. It would mean so much to us if any friends and family would like to donate to help support Kiwi’s medical treatment. Any amount would help, we all just want Kiwi to return home safe and sound to her person.

The current cost of Kiwi’s treatment is $10,000. Since Kiwi is still in critical condition, there is a possibility that this amount will change and I will provide updates accordingly.
