Our Kingsclere Community Library has faced three serious challenges within the past year. Our rent has been more than doubled to £4,566; from April the County Council will be withdrawing its support; and the lockdowns have meant that we have been unable to hold any vital fund raising events.
Our financial situation is now our most pressing concern and we are in urgent need of funds in order to stay open as a independent library.
We offer a free service to the residents of Kingsclere and the surrounding villages. We know how important the library is to local residents by how many of you participated in the Consultation earlier in the year. We are now asking you to support us and give whatever you can afford to enable us to keep our wonderful library open.
