Help Save Killah:
Emergency Surgery for My Beloved Dog
My best friend Killah, a sweet Yorkshire Terrier Poodle mix, urgently needs surgery to survive. He has a severe intestinal blockage from a hernia, and now can't pass his bowels. X-rays from our veterinarian showed surgery is his only hope. Without it, he won't make it .Killah is more than a pet, he's family.
He’s brought me comfort (especially when I was pregnant, he was so sweet, compassionate and very watchful of me during those 9 months), so much fun, brings non-stop laughter, and has provided unconditional love and loyalty for the last 8 years.
Seeing him now, struggling just to move or try to go to the bathroom, breaks my heart and I am crying as I type this just from thinking about it. I can see the pain in his eyes and all I want is to help him feel safe and healthy again.
Why We Need Your Help:.
The emergency surgery and hospitalization cost far more than I can afford alone. The vet estimated at least $3,000 in total for surgery, medication, and post-op care. Our pet insurance is already maxed out just from bringing Killah in for X-rays and initial treatment, all we could afford after the check-up was the lactulose rx for him to soften his stools so that he may pass them but now it is beyond stool softening and he needs surgery IMMEDIATELY.
I am humbly asking for help to raise $3000 so the vet can begin surgery and give Killah a chance. Any donation, large or small, will go directly to his medical bills.
How You Can Help:
- Donate: every dollar brings us closer to saving Killah’s life.
- Share: even if you can’t donate, sharing this campaign on social media can help us reach caring pet lovers everywhere.
- Send encouragement: messages of hope mean so much during this difficult time.
Proof & Updates:
I've posted Killah’s vet records and X-ray images here. I will share every update about his surgery and recovery if we can make that happen so you know exactly where your support is going, and that's a promise!
Thank you for anything you can give or share. Killah means the world to me and your kindness can help him see a brighter tomorrow.
Please help us fight for Killah’s second chance!
