Help Us Keep Kids Moving and Having Fun!

Hi everyone,

We are two personal trainers who share a passion for helping kids stay active, healthy, and confident. Earlier this year, we poured our hearts (and savings) into opening Kids Can Be Kids, an indoor playground in Fernandina Beach for children ages 1-7. It’s a safe, fun, and monitored space where little ones can run, climb, and play while building coordination and confidence.

We dreamed of creating a place where young children could move their bodies, and just be kids. Since opening, the smiles and excitement we see every day remind us why this place matters so much. We’re honored that Kids Can Be Kids was voted one of the Best New Businesses in Fernandina Beach, and this is truly a passion project for us.

But as many small businesses know, the early days are tough. Between start-up costs, rent, equipment and insurance, we’ve hit a financial roadblock that threatens our ability to keep the doors open. We are working tirelessly to grow, spread the word, and serve more families—but right now, we need a little help from our community to keep going.
