Hi . My name is Betsy Wright from Ontario,Canada, and I am raising funds to help my friend Kholoud, her husband, and her amazing 4 month old son evacuate from Gaza to Egypt.
The funds raised will be used for:
- Evacuation fees to Eqypt for Kholoud, her husband Murad and their son Muhammed
- Help meet the basic immediate needs for her family while awaiting evacuation to include: food, water, baby formula, diapers, clothes
- Transportation fees from the border to Cairo, Eqypt
- Help Kholoud and family have a place to stay and food to eat once evacuated from Gaza to Egypt
- Medical fees for urgent eye surgery for Murad and medical needs for Muhammed and Kholoud once evacuated to Egypt

I am Kholoud Kamel Hammad, Umm Muhammad, married to Murad Abdel Karim Al-Agha. I gave birth to a 4-month-old child during this war, named Muhammad. My house, in Khan Younis, was bombed and totally destroyed. Only the memories remained. We are living in a tent in the Rafah area now. I hope everyone helps me and my small family to leave Gaza to go to Egypt so that I, my child, and my husband can live safely, knowing that my husband suffers from a number of injuries. I am friends with Kholoud and her family and have been trying to support them with basic needs for several months. We talk daily about how her situation is.
Money is not accessible to Kholoud or her family in Gaza. The funds will go to my Canadian bank account then will be transferred in USD via Paypal to her younger brother, Banan Hammad, who has successfully evacuated to Egypt. Banan will utilize these funds for evacuation and transportation through Ya Hala Travel Agency fees for:
- Kholoud Kamel Hammad
- Murad Abdel Karim Al-Agha
- Muhammad Murad Abdul Karim Matar Al-Agha
More funds will be raised to help support basic needs in Egypt, once Kholoud and her family have evacuated.
