Save Kezron: Urgent Brain Tumor Surgery Appeal
0% complete
£1,884 raised of
20 donations
My name is Ritah, and I am currently based in the UK. I am organising this fundraiser on behalf of my uncle, Counsel Mutanga Kezron, who urgently needs our help.
Kezron has recently been diagnosed with a brain tumor, and doctors have recommended immediate surgery in India, where he has been referred for specialised treatment. This surgery is life-saving, but the financial cost is overwhelming for our family.
The total amount needed is 80 million Ugandan Shillings (around £16,800 / €20,000 / $20,800). We already have around 10% of the required funds, but we urgently need support to raise the balance before 5th November 2025, so that he can travel and undergo treatment without delay.
Every donation, no matter the size, will bring us closer to giving Kezron the chance to fight for his life, it will make a real difference:
Even £10/$12/€11 helps cover medication or travel costs.
£50/$60/€55 contributes to part of the hospital fees.
£100/$125/€120 brings us significantly closer to the full surgical cost.
How Funds Will Be Used
• Surgery and hospital fees in India
• Travel and accommodation for medical care abroad
• Medication and recovery support
Transparency & Fund Transfers
Because GoFundMe does not directly support withdrawals in Uganda, I (as the UK-based organiser) will receive the funds here in the UK. From there, I will transfer the money securely to my uncle’s family in Uganda via trusted international transfer services (Wise, WorldRemit, or Western Union).
I will provide regular updates, receipts, and medical reports so that every donor can see exactly how the funds are being used.
Call to Action
Please help us give Kezron a chance at life. Your donation will directly support his treatment and recovery. If you are unable to contribute financially, kindly share this campaign with your friends, networks, and communities.
Together, we can reach this goal and save Kezron.
Thank you so much for your compassion and generosity.
