- My name is Rachelle Bergman, I am a single mother of 2 boys. We have recently discovered November 8th 2022 that my 8 year old son, Kenton, has Stage 5 (end-of-life) Kidney Failure and new life threatening Cardiovascular health that has been compromised from his condition.Being news to us, our lives have completely transformed overnight. Now kicking into high gear to save his life with medical treatments and procedures to buy us time until we can find a Kidney Transplant Donor. Traveling from Spokane,WA to Seattle, Kenton will be needing extensive pediatric treatments from clinics that are not available in our area. Along with 3-4 life sustaining blood filtering Dialysis treatments being needed every week, Living an hour out of Spokane in Stevens County, we are looking at re-housing closer to the clinics as soon as possible as travel has proven to be difficult, especially in the winter months. I am currently having to stay home with Kenton to closely monitor his condition making it hard to make any additional income needed to make all of this possible. We are asking for help with anything at all that can be used for Extended Medical Expenses, Travel, Diet Needs, Re-Homing & New At-Home-Schooling/Tutoring Needs, all that will aid in Kentons recovery and comfort through these life threatening times. Kenton is such a smart, loving little boy that deserves a chance at a happy healthy life and we appreciate all that can be given, even if just a prayer: For Kentons life to placed in the right hands, for his body to accept the new treatments with ease and to find a Donor and recover quickly, that his body accepts his new transplant and through all of this for there to be a blanket of comfort for Kenton so that he is protected from all the fearful things that may be happening during our transition.
