My name is Kendra. I’m a mother of three and a recently widowed homeowner. My husband passed in October, leaving my children without a father. They are fifteen, twenty, and twenty three years old. Too young to lose their hero and mentor! Since his passing we have experienced many financial hardships as he was the main provider. Unfortunately my children family home is now in foreclosure. We need five months of payments to keep our house. They are emotionally attached to this home as it includes so many memories of their beloved father. Currently, I have an open application with the mortgage company that has put the foreclosure on hold for a short time. Some community members have an idea for a local BBQ plate sale fundraiser. He was loved by his community, friends , and family.
