Kelley, my cousin, is one of the most kind, generous and loving people I know. Ten years ago she was thriving, creative and capable. She is now tragically debilitated with a diagnosis of Myalgic Encephalomyelitis/ Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. Kelley is swamped with medical bills and increasing treatments which compound the symptoms rather than help. All of this began not long after getting the news that her only sibling and beautiful brother, Robert, took his life in August, 2012. Since then her mother, whom she was caring for over a 4 year period, has also died. Her symptoms have now progressed to a very weakened and disabled state, including chronic migraines and fibromyalgia. Kelley is now housebound and partially bed bound. Her certification to become a Montessori teacher was interrupted in order to care for her mother full time where she became a certified caregiver to do so. She is highly creative and yet has been unable to work since November of 2018. Without work and the needed Federal and State resources, her medical and living expenses are mounting. She is a breath away from homelessness. Her brother and parents are all deceased and she is without family for support.

She needs consistent monthly resources for rent and bills and a medical team that can further diagnose and treat her appropriately. $ 2,000/mo would help cover living expenses, food and medical support. The goal is $24,000.
