Hello, my name is Heidi Linder and I live in Clio, CA on a chicken farm we call Chickadee Flats. We sell our farm-fresh eggs here locally. We also have 2 adorable and very lovable Great Pyrenees dogs (Mindi and Kaya) that watch over our flock of hens. Plus, they also get to roam around on our farm, go swimming at our local Mill Pond, and bring so much love and joy to our family.

I'm retired and disabled, living on a very limited income. Unfortunately, a few days ago, one of our dogs, Kaya, took ill and sadly we don't have the money necessary to even take Kaya to our vet. We're afraid that if she doesn't get medical help ASAP, we will lose her. We couldn't even imagine a world without her. I'm a disabled senior and she helps me through my toughest of days.

This is the first time we've used GoFundMe and don't really know how this works, but if our plea for help through this platform helps us raise the necessary funds to save Kaya's life, then we'd be forever grateful to whoever can help us during this sad and unfortunate time.
