This Is Kage. He’s An Eight Month Old Tuxedo Cat. He Loves To Play, Wrestle, Eat, And Sleep.

For The Past Few Days Kage Has Been Throwing Up A Clear Liquid In The Middle Of The Night. He’d Throw Up Maybe 2-3 Times And Then Wake Up The Next Morning Brand New As If Everything Was Okay. He Continued This For About A Week And Ever Since Then, His Mother Would Keep A Close Eye On Him To Check For Behavior Changes, Eating Habits, ETC. Vets That Were Called Stated That It Was Probably Because He Ate Too Much, Drank Too Much Water, Or Even Played A Little Too Rough.

Then Comes Tuesday, February 24. Kage And His Family Experience A Break In At 3AM That Shook Up The Entire House. After Everything Was Over, Kage Was Very Much Jittery And Timid, But Returned Back To His Normal Playful Behavior Later That Night.

The Next Morning, Kage Began Acting Strangely. He Became Slower, Lethargic Even. He Didn’t Come Running Into The Kitchen For Breakfast, Or His Morning Snack. He Was Just, Not Himself. After Seeing This, His Mother Called Every Animal Hospital In The Area And Managed To Get Him In For A Quick Checkup To Get The Jest Of What Was Going On. The First Hospital Charged $795 For An X-ray Which His Mother Didn’t Have So They Brought Him Back Home.

The Next Day, Kage’s Mother, Father, And Aunt Were Able To Scrape Up Some Money To Take Him To A Cheaper Hospital To Get Him Checked.

Even Though All They Were Able To Afford Was An X-ray It’s Better Than Nothing. It’ll Give Them The Jest Of What They Can Do To Help Him.

The X-Ray Came Back, And It Wasn’t Good. Kage Was Completely Blocked. His Stomach Was Full Of Hair Ties, And All Kind Of Other Things He Might’ve Swallowed Like Food, Hair, ETC. They Were Beginning To Bunch Up Because Of How Long They Were In There, Getting Stuck In His Small Intestines. The Next Step Was To Send The X-Rays To A Radiologist Who Could Confirm Exactly What He Needs, But It Most Likely Meant He Needed Surgery.

His Family Was Now At A Loss. They Couldn’t Afford To Get The Next Step He Needed To Recover. They Sadly Had To Take Kage Back Home With Nothing But A Prayer That He’d Be Okay Until They’d Be Able To Get More Money To Get The Next Step He Needs To Feel Better. All They Had Were X-Ray Photos, And A Medication That The Hospital So Kindly Gave Them To Maybe Help In Any Way Possible.

Kage Was Given The Medication As Soon As He Got Home, But Sadly Threw It Up Not Too Long After…

This Is Where We Need Help. My Family Can’t Afford To Get Kage The Next Step He Needs To Help Him Recover. He’s Been Blocked For Days According To The Doctor, And If He Doesn’t Get Anything Out Soon, Then He’s Just Going To Get Worse. I Feel So Terrible About Letting This Happen To Him, As His Mother Who Raised Him From A Baby, I Can’t Stand To See Him Like This. I Hate That My Baby Has To Suffer Like This And I Feel So Helpless That I Can’t Do More To Help. I Love Kage To Death, And I’d Hate To Just Watch Him Decline When I Could’ve Done More To Help.

Please, Anything Helps. Please Help Me Get My Son The Help He Needs So He Can Go Back To His Happy Life. I Miss His Late Night Snuggles, His Bunny Kicks To My Feet And Arms, And The Way He’d Sprint Into The Kitchen Once He Heard A Cabinet Open. Please, Help Me Help My Baby.
