Update 4/14: Junie is now home with us!! She is a happy, healthy, energetic little girl. Although she is better, our final vet bill surpassed $4000 and we are still halfway towards our goal. Any support is much appreciated!

Junebug, our 8-week-old Basset Hound puppy, was diagnosed with Parvo. We adopted her on 4/9/25 from a first-time breeder with no indication of being sick. We took her home, and she threw up about every 2 hours starting at 1 a.m. The next day, she had diarrhea, a disinterest in food and water, and could not keep water given to her in a syringe down. We took her to the emergency vet where she ultimately had to be hospitalized. We don’t know how long it’s going to be until we can bring her home, we just hope with all of our hearts she’ll make it through this. Thank you all.
