Help Save Jasper’s Life: Urgent Medical Care Needed

Hi everyone ❤️ please take a moment to read Jasper’s story. I am trying to raise money for the next 6months to help me pay for Jasper’s medical care.

On November 20th Jasper was taken into my vet and I was told his bladder was about to rupture and he could pass away within the next few hours. I was able to get his bladder aspirated and drained to keep him comfortable, however I had to bring him into the mission animal hospital right away the next morning. He had a full bladder blockage, they were able to remove his blockage, place him on IV fluids and inserted a catheter for him to help him urinate. The vets were hopeful he would be okay after removing this blockage, so he was sent home but overnight he blocked again. I rushed him back into the hospital right away and they performed another blockage removal, catheter and medication. Jasper ended up pulling out his own catheter during the day and we were worried about how he would do, and he still wasn’t passing urine on his own. They have now for the 3rd time replaces his catheter and are monitoring him in the hospital.

If Jasper continues to block after this time, it will mean he needs something called a PU surgery (perineal urethrostomy) to create a new urinary opening that decreases the length of the urethra and allows urine to bypass this narrowed region. This surgery can decrease the likelihood of recurring obstruction. And is the most hopeful chance of him fully recovering. Jasper means more than the world to me, and my family and many others who love him. People always ask if they can have him or buy him from me cause he’s just so cute and perfect. He still has so much love left to give and receive, he deserves all the chances he can get at life and to be healthy. I want to be able to let him live out the rest of his life without him going thru this again or having it keep reoccurring since he is predisposed to have this condition.

He is only 8 years old and has many loving years ahead of him and to me it is worth every penny to save him. I am struggling right now with money and was trying to prepare in the case this may happen as we were told he may need this surgery in the future, about 6 months ago. However im still not in the place I need to be and am very unprepared for this because it came up so quick. If you can donate or help make any payments towards his surgery and hospital stay, it would save his life.

I have barely been able to eat or sleep, this has put a tremendous cloud over me but I’m doing all I can to make it through this and just need some extra help, please. I’ve applied for care credit, applying for grants and looking into any resources I can find. Let’s please save Jasper ❤️ he is the most perfect cat in the world and he’s been a healthy boy until now. I’m so scared of losing him. My heart is broken please pray for him!
