Save Jared's House

Rev. Jared Magero is a pastor from Kenya, who has termites eating his  precious books in his mud hut.  They are eating all of the books he needs to use to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with his village and those in surrounding villages.  Jared is now in the United States, having left his wife Molly, and three children, Maggy, John and Jerim in Kenya while he continues his studies at Concordia Seminary in St. Louis, MO. His sister and her husband died so Jared, being the oldest child, is now responsible for her two children and has taken them in.  When he is home, he can dig around the termites and keep them at bay, but while he is here, his wife cannot do that. 
My name is Donna.  I am a Christian woman who has "adopted" Jared and his family while he is here in the United States.  
I wish for Jared to have a BRICK HOUSE - that costs about $10,000.  Jared makes $60 a month and I do not have that amount  of money to give. There is NO way he can do this without your help.  Termites eat books, clothing and just about anything they can find. Jared and Molly have one tin box that they put their best clothing in to keep the termites away.  A BRICK HOUSE would assure that Jared's textbooks and Bible are secure! Jared is committed to spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  He has 4 churches that he serves, and walks 4 hours to bring the Gospel to  one of his churches.  I have had Jared in my home and I have seen one of his books.  The picture I  shared shows how the termites eat and leave mud behind.  I have replaced that one book...... but there are many more.  The seminary flew him home last summer for a month and he went home to find his books had been eaten.  This broke his heart! I have also seen the love he has for Jesus and how he loves to share with others. He does not have money to replace everything the termites have damaged, but having a brick house would solve that problem.  He goes home in 2018 and I would like to have the money raised for him so he can begin building when he returns to Kenya.  
I would be so very happy to see him smiling as he realizes that he has been provided a safe home for his wife and children - devoid of termites! This means so much to me, and if I had the $10K I would gladly give it to him, but I do not.  It is my prayer that you will find it in your heart to share whatever you can to help me get Jared, Molly, Maggy, John and Jerim a house that stands firm and keeps out termites!  Thank you and God bless you.
