Help to save a young man’s sight
After a routine eye examination earlier this year James was diagnosed with a rare eye condition.
He now faces several operations in London at a specialist clinic on both eyes. The first operation will try to stop
his vision worsening. The following operations will hopefully allow him to return back to a normal lifestyle.
James’ treatment will take approximately 12 months with healing time in between each operation.
The diagnosis came as a shock to James and his family. In July he had to surrender his driving licence and has had to adjust to a life with very poor vision in a very short space of time. The disease is aggressive and targets those in puberty and their early twenties.
James is seeking help to fund his operations in London and hopes one day to be independent again to continue with his career as a chef. A career he has been chasing from a very young age.
All funds raised will go towards his medical costs.
