Help JAMES FYLNN- teacher & stroke victim

Hello, this GoFundme is for is JAMES FLYNN a math teacher who works in as a math teacher in St. Lucie County, Florida. He has taught math and ESE for over 20 years. He has also been the best father any daughter could every ask for. He and our mom have always called each other “soulmates” and they have a love that can’t be described. Even when our mom got sick he always knew how to bring her back and now she is trying to do the same for him. Our Dad has always been our rock and it is hard to see him struggle like this. As a teacher, wherever we go we are always running into current and former students. We also feel so proud knowing that students he taught 18 or more years ago usually tell him that he was the best teacher they ever had and they are so happy to tell him about their successes. It makes us proud to know that our Dad had changed the lives of many students, always had friends at his his assigned school and throughout the district. This year was one of his happiest, he was teaching at Lincoln Park Academy doing both Advanced Algebra and Geometry. Then he decided to start and run the chess club. He was very happy this year talks about how he misses his students very much. Unfortunately, our worst nightmare happened during the month of October. ,

Our Dad suffered 9 strokes between Oct. Oct 2 and Oct 25.

Hearing our mom talk to him at school when he wasn’t feeling well and then my mom calling saying that an ambulance was taking him to the hospital from school; was scary. Then waking up to just see him being loaded into an ambulance from home was the worst image will be one of the worst memories my sister & I will ever hold onto. My Dad didn’t look like my Daddy, He was just blank, covered in blood… anyways

That stroke that night almost killed him and it not a scene anyone wants to wake up too.

His hospital stay was was horrible but were he went for rehab was great. The hospital calls everyday demanding money and they hurt him! Our family isn’t begging for anything but we just want to help our Dad. He spent his birthday at the hospital. We would just like to pay the hospital some, get my Dad some Medical supplies, and give him a nice Thanksgiving. He is worried about my Mon’s birthday on the 26, but she keeps telling him, that him getting better is enough of a gift for her ( plus she doesn’t want to celebrate 3 years away from the big one!

Our mom is very sick and has had a rough year bu she says “This is Daddy’s time to heal now”. Without my Dad’s income, I know things are going to be rough. We all appreciate everything every one who has done to help us. My mom is very drained and has that Italian temper ( something us girls hope to learn one day lol)! However, she is also tired and getting herself ill.

If you could find it in your hearts to help, like our Mama says: it would not be a hand out but it would be paid back in kind. A step up.

Our Dad is a good guy who is funny, shy, makes others feel good, is insecure about himself but one of the “good ones”. He may sound gruff at times but still pick you up when you are down. We hope that with the right doctors and therapist we can get our Dad back. Then he go back to teaching ( which he wants to so much, he misses his students and teaching. Please help us, save our Dad so he can find the light in all the dark and be our superman.
