Save Jake: Help Jake heal and receive justice.

Jake was a happy go lucky beloved one year old dog that, on September 7, 2024 got loose from his property with his seven-month-old friend, aka "Fat Boy," in the City of Lackawanna . While loose, the two dogs approached a neighbor and her dog, and a brief scuffle ensued. The neighbor and her dog sustained minor injuries. What happened next was anything but minor. The City seized Jake and Fat Boy on September 24, 2024. Despite the law saying that the hearing must be had within five days at the time of seizure... Lackawanna kept these dogs locked up at their City Garage for six weeks. 6 weeks before AAO's attorney got involved and immediately got Jake released. For Fat Boy... it was too late. He had died in Lackawanna's care. They let a seven month old puppy die.

Jake survived. Barely. His tail suffered a severe wound and infection. It may need to be amputated. He lost nearly 20 pounds. He was traumatized. His family did everything they could to get him out...and now could use some help. Jake has a long road to recovery. The family has fines to pay. Fencing to build. Training sessions to attend once he heals. Against All Oddz has already fronted some costs and needs some assistance.
