This is Jack, the friendliest, sweetest boy who was abandoned by his owner when they moved. He’s become a fixture in the community, always there to greet you when you come home from the parking garage.

Over the last few weeks, he’s been getting sickly and skinnier. I noticed today he has an abscess in his mouth that is causing him to drool, very inflamed and painful looking. He won’t get better without treatment or medication.

I want to take him to the vet and get this issue addressed so he can continue to live his best life, instead of passing sway from a condition that is potentially treatable.

I’m hoping to get some help paying his vet bills - initial exam, any procedures if needed, an after care. All will be extensively documented with receipts. If there is anything left over, all the funds will be donated to Del Gato Cat Rescue in Los Angeles.

He is so friendly and so sweet, love in its purest form. To see him suffering is heartbreaking. We cannot walk by him every day and ignore his clear health issues, while his condition deteriorates. We cannot let him die like this when we can prevent it.

There is so much evil in this world, it can be overwhelming. But there is also good in this world, and we have to continue to fight, love and care however can!
