Jabba is a 3 year old French Bulldog. He had BOAS Surgey 2/26/2025. In Hampton Hispital It did not go well. He was transported to an ICU hospital in Riverhead for intensive care He was ventilated with a tube and full oxygen. His throat had completely closed and he he has a pneumonia he has a pneumonia He tolerated the tube and made it through the night with a few complications. When they tried to remove e the tube he has too much mucus and cannot breath. The vent was put back in. He now is being transported to a Critical Care hospital in East Islip where he will be taken off the ventilator. If he cannot breath they will need a tracheotomy. But they said if he continues to have mucus they will need to suction him hourly. I am $30,000.00 in so far and it’s going to take much more to keep him treated.
