Janet Marsico (J) Autoimmune story

Let's get Janet Marsico's (Coach J) "magic legs" and spirit working with the medical help she needs:
As many know, Janet has suffered over 30 years with a bucket list of over 7 different serious autoimmune diseases, which she has hidden well up until 2015. Many of us have witnessed and watched it take its toll on her body. Through it all, she maintained her successful business The Figure Workshop, until the winter when it really took a toll on her body - drastic weight loss was the most obvious. Autoimmune disease is called the "invisible" disease because so many don't even understand or realize when she's sick. Each autoimmune disease effects different parts of the body. Janet's severe drop in weight, Sjogrens Syndrome (one of her 6 others) and Lupus have done such destruction on her already fragile body. But through it all she managed to run her business as best as she could and keep smiling as she was feeling just fine. No one was able to tell she was crashing and burning except the ones who knew her best.
Last month one of her new diseases was taking a terrible toll on Janets leg muscles and neurological functioning. It was noticeable at one of the bodybuilding shows and it appeared as if she was drunk and unstable, but that was not the case. Just this past week Janet had collapsed and was taken to White Plains medical center by ambulance where they actually almost lost her from dehydration from Sjogrens Syndrome
www.sjogrens.org/ Janet is also suffering some neurological disorders causing her brain to push against her skull, causing night time seizures and no strength in her legs, preventing her from walking at all at this point without an aide. She will still be in White Plains Medical Center in White Plains NY for a few more days then off to rehab for a while. She will learn to walk all over again, use a walker, hopefully crutches and then walk again on her own two feet and get back to the studio once the season begins if full effect and 100% ready to go. Her doctors believe this. We all know Coach J's legs are her career. She lives for what she does, and loves and breathes it. The Art of Of Instruction Presentation and Posing is her passion. We need to help coach J get her legs back and working, and help her with some of the bills that are piling up and not being able to satisfy them the next few months while she is recovering ... Since J does so much for all of us and we put this fund together for her to try to help her with the monthly and daily expenses during this process. Any amount is greatly appreciated. She has changed so many women's lives over the years not only by her coaching but by her compassion and love for all her "Sisters" (TFW clients), her children, her mother, Dutchess, friends and family. I know she has told doctors her only two wishes are to know what it's like to feel healthy for just one day and second to do what she always loves to do, and that involves her legs as we all know. While she's still recovering and not working, in the hospital where she now remains - She may or may not have surgery but the extensive physical therapy- severe weakness to her legs which is making her not able to walk at all.
We are setting this fund to help her with out of pocket medical expenses, her monthly expenses, and other expenses that she will not be able cover until she's on her feet. It can be $1.00; $2.00; $20.00 $50.00;$100.00 and up whatever you could manage to put towards helping this special woman and friend to our fitness family.
