My name is Jane Griess and I’ve been friends with Kaye Noble for a number of years. Kaye was the first person who helped me when I was attempting to get my dog into dock diving. She went out of her way to be helpful and supportive when few others did. Now, Kaye is in a bit of a financial pinch because her beautiful border collie pup Izzy needs a life-saving surgery that costs way more than Kaye can afford.

Kaye is a nurse who works in home health care to make a living. She usually works three to four days a week. Unfortunately, she hasn’t been able to work for the past three months due to having had a serious back operation. She is recovering from her surgery well and is hopeful that she will be able to go back to work in a month or so once her doctor gives her the okay.

During her recovery, she finally got the border collie puppy she has been waiting for, and as expected, she fell in love with Izzy immediately.

Unfortunately, little Izzy was just diagnosed with a heart condition known as Patent Ductus Arteriosus (PDA). This link does a good job of explaining PDA.

Because Kaye has been out of work for three months and has depleted her savings, she cannot afford to pay for Izzy’s surgery. She is devastated! The surgery would be done at the University of Tennessee Vet School, and they require payment in full at the time of service.

Kaye has always been there for DockDogs and Smoky Mountain DockDog in particular, often spending her own money in an effort to raise funds and provide support for these clubs as well as many other rescue and animal organizations.

If you know Kaye at all, you know that she will do everything in her power to save this precious pup. I am willing to help her financially and am hopeful that many of her friends will too.
