Save Isaac's Life

If you are reading this, then Isaac has probably touched you in some way. Isaac has been fighting for his life since March 2022. I would be lying if I said it has been easy to remain positive as we’ve faced so many uncertainties. He was on the road to recovery before going into cardiac arrest due to negligence at the hospital. However, he is still with us! It's been gut wrenching not to see him smile, dribble the basketball, crack jokes, dance, or even give me a lecture. Isaac is such a great person, a giver, kind and full of laughter. He has shown such tenacity (one of his favorite words) battling his way back. It is because of his determination that we can not give up on him.

We’ve read stories like that of young Juan Torres , who recovered from being in a vegitiative state. Juan could hear everything, but just couldn’t respond. I didn’t come across this story by accident just like Isaac still being with us is not by accident. He can hear and understand, but can not respond completely yet.

Now, we need some help. Isaac needs to be relocated to a facility for brain injury rehabilitation that ideally has access to regenerative medical procedures as we think this may be the best opportunity for him to have a better recovery. He is current at a facility near Sacramento, CA. We’ve been doing our very best to find facilities around the country that can help.

What we do know is there is strength in numbers. Sometimes people parish because lack of knowledge and/or resources. We are hoping by sharing his story we can find the best facility to relocate him. We need help with finding the right connections in regenerative medicine, neurology, and/or vegetative state. He will likely need a medical flight to transfer him to the new facility. Our mom will be relocating to wherever he is.
