Save Indy: Victoria's Beloved Pet Needs You

Hi

My name is Indy I'm a 9 1/2-year-old Pitsky-my mom was a beautiful cream/blonde Husky and my dad was a blue- nose Brindle Pitbull. I love long walks and spending weekends at CBarC Dog Park with my adopted son Ten-Tin and my energetic grandson, Roofus. Life has always been full of tail wags and adventures.

But right now,I need a little help.

Recently, I developed a lump on my front left leg that's been growing, and my human mom, Victoria, is very worried. I need to visit the vet for an exam, test, and possibly surgery, but the cost is more than she can afford right now.

Victoria has been my best friend and caregiver since day one. She has also been a loyal employee for the past two years, but earlier this year, her work hours were cut drastically-from 36 hours a week to just 8-16. Despite her efforts to find additional work, it's been a struggle, and finances are tight.

I'm more than just a pet to her- I'm family. I shared a special bond with her late father, and in many ways, I'm her last living connection to him. That makes this even harder on her emotionally.
