Help Us Protect Hueco Tanks from Invasive Species and Ecological Collapse
Hueco Tanks State Park is under threat.
Over the last decade, we've witnessed the devastating rise of invasive aoudad sheep—an unchecked population that’s trampling native habitats, threatening rare wildlife, and putting sacred cultural sites at risk. Despite our best efforts as park stewards and dedicated visitors, the balance of this fragile desert ecosystem is unraveling before our eyes.
The Hueco Conservation Corps was founded in direct response to this crisis. We are a grassroots nonprofit made up of passionate volunteers, conservationists, climbers, educators, and locals united by one goal: to protect, restore, and preserve Hueco Tanks—for this generation and the next.
We’re raising funds to:
Advocate for responsible wildlife management and habitat protection,
and implement plans of action.
Support scientific research and native plant restoration
Launch community-driven restoration projects
But we can’t do it alone. The urgency is real—and growing.
By supporting this campaign, you’re helping us take immediate, meaningful action where it matters most. Every donation helps us fight for Hueco Tanks with boots on the ground, tools in hand, and a vision for long-term restoration.
If Hueco has ever touched your soul—whether through its boulders, petroglyphs, or the stillness of the desert—this is your chance to give back.
Donate, share, and stand with us to save Hueco.
Together, we can reclaim the balance.
