As a result of hurricane Dorian, the beloved Hope Town coffee house was destroyed. The owners Heather Forde Prosa and Andrew Prosa lived above the coffee house with their two children Luke and Fina. In order to help clean up, rebuild and find temporary housing we have started this page to help them in the challenging aftermath of hurricane cleanup and rebuilding.
I am Heather Forde Prosa's cousin and starting this page on their behalf.
UPDATE: September 10th. I have received information that rebuilding is not possible at this time and efforts are underway to ensure they have stable housing and the children and are back in school. Heather and Andrew are trying their best to relocate at this time.
UPDATE OCT 2.
Hope Town has been declared unliveable for four years, only 9% of homes are left standing and all the schools were destroyed. Heather and Andrew cannot tarp their house and it continues to decay daily.
