እዚ ሕማም ነቲ ዋህዮታት ደም ዘፍሪ ኣንጉዕ ዓጽሚ ግቡእ ስርሑ ከይገብር ዝዕንቅጽ ሕማም ኢዩ። እቲ ሕማም ዝፍወስ ከኣ ሓድሽ ኣንጉዕ ዓጽሚ ብምትካል ጥራይ ኢዩ።

What is aplastic anemia?
Aplastic anemia is a serious condition in which the bone marrow stops producing enough blood cells. For the past several months, Hermon has been receiving frequent blood transfusions, but his condition continues to worsen.
Doctors in Eritrea, where he lives, have confirmed that the only curative treatment is a stem cell transplant — a procedure that is not available in his country.

Thanks to the kind assistance of doctors in Belgium (UZA Antwerp), as well as further connection in Turkey, we have identified hospitals abroad where Hermon can receive the urgent care he needs.
According to the specialists:
• A transplant with a matched family donor costs around $55,000 USD
• If no matched donor is found in the family, the cost rises to $70,000–90,000 USD for an unrelated donor via international registries

• HLA typing (donor matching tests)
• Medical visa and international travel
