Today, my beloved cat Hermione suffered a devastating accident. She got her head and arm caught in a pet gate and severely injured herself, fracturing her lower jaw (mandible) right down the center and breaking multiple teeth.

We rushed her to emergency care. The veterinarians confirmed that her injury is critical: her jaw cannot heal without surgery, and without immediate intervention, Hermione will be unable to eat, live comfortably, or survive.

Hermione urgently needs surgery to repair her fractured jaw, as well as root canals to stabilize the bone structure.

The cost of her surgery and treatment is estimated to be $7,000 or more. As much as it hurts to ask, I can't save her alone.

The good news is that with surgery, Hermione is expected to make a full recovery and return to a happy, normal life. She has a strong will to survive, she’s still purring, still trusting, and still fighting to stay with me. I am doing everything I can to fight for her too.

Hermione has been by my side through some of the hardest moments of my life. She is not just a pet — she is family, and she means everything to me.
