I have 2 weeks left to save my storage unit & my dad!

Hi, my name is Erin, and I’m currently living in my car while doing everything I can to get back on my feet.

I was hired for a new job — everything’s ready, but they’re waiting on their license to open. In the meantime, I’ve been trying to survive, but the bills haven’t stopped.

It all started with a snowball effect:

My old roommate and I were evicted after his mother passed, and he had to cover funeral costs. I lost my job soon after and applied nonstop until I finally got hired again.

Just when I started to catch up, I had to pay $900 for new tires due to ripped treads. Then, my back brakes locked up, and I had to pay $550 to tow and replace the rotors and pads. That set me back again.

I am at high risk of losing my storage unit and my Father’s ashes are in it.

I’m not lazy — I’m determined. I’ve worked hard my whole life.

But now, everything hit at once. And without a working phone, I can’t make money on Instacart — which was how I was getting by. My phone got shut off, and now I can’t even do that.

I’ve already cut back every possible expense. I’m just asking for help to get through this gap so I can start working again, stabilize my life, and focus on college this fall.

I’m doing my best. I’m grateful for every share, prayer, or donation.
