Hello ! I’m writing this message on behalf of my sister Shannon’s soul dog, Sadie. Very sadly Sadie has suffered a spinal injury, while playing in their yard. She now requires a surgery, that was quoted at $24,000. Sadie was rescued through Louie’s Legacy, they found her on the streets at approximately 1 year old. Sadie was malnourished, and both sad and terrified. My sister jumped at the opportunity to take Sadie in, and give her the love and care that she needed. Sadie has come a very long way. Shannon cared for her through hookworms and subsequent anemia, she put in so much effort to get Sadie’s heart and health back on track. Shannon succeeded tremendously !! Within a year Sadie gained nearly 20 lbs, and was worm free! Sadie went from standoffish to cuddle bug, who wins over the heart of anyone she meets. Especially the three little boys who have grown up with her, my sister (Sadie’s soulmate), and her husband. I’m hoping you all find it in your hearts to donate any amount you possible, if you are unable to donate please, at the very least share this post.
