Hi everyone, I’m reaching out with a heavy heart but a lot of hope. I’m starting this fundraiser for someone truly special to me who is currently facing the biggest battle of her life.

Recently my friend's mum was diagnosed with a Pituitary Macroadenoma, a brain tumor that has quickly and cruelly begun to take away her vision. As of today, she has completely lost sight in her left eye, and everything is becoming increasingly blurry in her right.

She is the kind of person who is giving, lights up rooms she walks into, and the thought of her losing the ability to see the faces of her kids, grandkid, students, family, friends, and those she loves is sad and heartbreaking. We are in a race against time to save her remaining vision, and we simply cannot do it alone.
