Hello, my name is Luisa, and I have started this GoFundMe for the Heartbeat House Dance Studio, our beloved Atwater Village community staple, where we gather, dance, sweat, and connect.
I am a long-time instructor of Heartbeat and can tell you how much this studio means to so many. It's more than a studio. For 16 years, it is the Atwater Village's happy place where people meet to dance, exercise, or do yoga to clear their minds. For anyone 5 to 75 years old, there is something for them in this award-winning studio.
We need your help!
Like many small businesses, the pandemic has hit our community haven with recurring business costs without enough revenue. As the studio opens its doors, going back to normal means limited studio capacity hybrid with online classes, as the studio staff works hard to at least break even again.
Your generous donation will help pay for overdue business expenses and help bring Heartbeat House to a solid footing to thrive again!
Together we can all pitch in and save Heartbeat House. Slowly, we can learn to be comfortable out in the community again. Heartbeat House is that place we can all come back to, a place to dance, hug and sweat ourselves back to optimal physical, mental, and emotional health.
