Update 11/8/25: Hart has a lot of blood in his stool so we are rushing him to the emergency room yet again.

Update 11/6/25: Turns out it is likely not a slipped disc (IVDD) but might be hypothyroidism that led to paralysis of his hind legs. The vet did an MRI and determined that there were no slipped discs (or any that were bad enough to cause paralysis.) We are waiting for blood work, which takes about a week to come back.

We took him home last night and we will be having to carry him in a sling to for him to do anything. He's on some pain meds and barely eating/drinking.

So far the vet bills have been over $11k, with no prognosis. He will go back to the vet next week for more testing and evaluation.

I’m looking for any financial help I can get to help my pay for my dog Hart’s emergency surgery.

Hart is a loving 6 year old pittie mix. He suffered a slipped disc and requires surgery. If I can’t come up with some funds, I will be forced to put him down.
