Save Harbor Waldorf School

Unfortunately, HWS is facing financial challenges that threaten to undermine our ability to achieve our goals.

Although the school has made major cuts to the budget, Harbor Waldorf School is still in need of serious fundraising efforts to help offset our operating deficit. With low enrollment for the upcoming year, without your help, the only Waldorf school on the East End of Long Island cannot continue.

We are hoping to secure funding that will enable us to continue our important work and make a meaningful impact in our community.

Harbor Waldorf works hard to keep its tuition costs at the most affordable levels possible. Therefore, like most independent schools, Harbor Waldorf’s tuition income does not fully fund the actual cost of educating our students. Harbor Waldorf relies on fundraising to fill this gap.

Specifically, we are seeking $100,000 to cover the cost of staff salaries, maintenance of facilities, and rent. The success of our school is due to our incredible community, and we need your support to continue.
