Hi everyone,

I’m raising funds to help my sweet cat Hamilton get through an incredibly painful and difficult time.

Yesterday, I took him to the vet because he was limping. After examining him and doing x-rays, we found out he has a serious abnormality in his leg and will need to have it amputated to stop the pain he’s been living with.

That same day, when I came home from work, I found that a glass bowl had fallen and shattered — and tragically, it landed on him. He had deep cuts on both of his other legs and had to be rushed to the emergency vet. He lost a lot of blood and needed stitches and treatment right away.

He’s now home, wearing a cone, and in a lot of pain as he heals from his injuries. On top of that, we still have to move forward with his leg amputation soon. Between the emergency visit, x-rays, medications, and upcoming surgery, I’ve already spent over $2,000, and the surgery will cost another $3,200.

I’ll have to take time off work to care for him and make sure he’s comfortable and healing. I love him more than anything, and I’m doing everything I can to give him the care he deserves — but I can’t do it alone.
