UNFORTUNATELY, Gunner (aka G-Unit) was recently diagnosed with malignant sarcoma, which requires surgery and further treatment. If the operation is successful, his life expectancy can reach 2-6 years. Without such treatment, these will be the last few months I have with him. He deserves every last effort, and I want nothing more than to spend every second I can with him.

The cliché that a dog is man's best friend has been transcended by the dog featured above. On more than two occasions in the past few years, this dog has saved my life. He has never left my side; his ethereal warmth, company, and kindness have been the one true place I feel at home.

Throughrought my diagnosis with neurosarcoidosis, he has never left my side. Through chemo, steroids, and infusion treatments, he has been my rock. To be honest, I have not deserved such love and commitment.
