This afternoon, the Montgomery family’s beloved Boykin Spaniel, Goose, suddenly became very sick. He was rushed to the emergency vet, where they received heartbreaking news — Goose has a bowel obstruction and needs emergency surgery to save his life.

Goose isn’t just a pet — he’s an extension of the Montgomery family. He’s their loyal protector, constant companion, and the best friend to their two young boys, who are completely devastated at the thought of losing him. Goose brings laughter, comfort, and unconditional love to their home every single day. He’s not quite 2 years old — still just a puppy — and has his whole life ahead of him.

The surgery is costly, and the family needs help right now to give Goose the care that could save his life. Goose is otherwise perfectly healthy and up to date on all his veterinary care — this came out of nowhere.
