Gobsmacked is a surreal play on the classic “noir” genre, featuring Private Detective H. Gibson, as he stumbles through a maze of absurdity, all while forgetting what he’s actually supposed to be investigating. Throughout the film, he discovers the biggest mystery of all is just how gobsmacked you can be by the world around you.

Gobsmacked has been a labor of love, fueled by passion and creativity rather than a budget. We’ve successfully shot half of it, but unforeseen challenges have stalled our progress. A health-related emergency within our team and a devastating loss of footage brought production to a halt.

Despite the setbacks, we remain deeply committed to bringing this story to life. Every moment captured so far has only reinforced our belief in the short film's potential to resonate. However, finishing it will require resources we don’t currently have. Your support will go directly toward completing the reshoots, ensuring the story is told the way it deserves to be!
