My name is Olivia, and I’m creating this GoFundMe on behalf of my friend, Isaiah Smith, and his incredible puppy, Glo.

“Glo”, short for Glorilla, is 7 month-old tri-chocolate XL Bully with the kindest heart. Isaiah rescued her from an unethical breeder, believing she was healthy and just needed standard vaccinations. He was excited to give her a safe, loving home.

After receiving her vaccinations, Glo was diagnosed with Parvo, a serious and highly contagious virus that attacks a dog’s digestive system.

In simple terms, Parvo prevents a puppy from absorbing the nutrients they need to survive. Every pet owner fears this diagnosis. It causes intense vomiting, diarrhea, dehydration, and extreme weakness. It’s especially dangerous for young dogs and can be fatal without immediate treatment.

What’s even more heartbreaking is that Glo already had Parvo while she was still with that horrible breeder, something Isaiah was never told. By the time he brought her home, she was already sick.

The cost of Glo’s medicine alone is $600, not including IV fluids, supportive treatments, and vet visits. Isaiah is doing everything he can. Because everything happened so quickly, Isaiah didn’t have time to get pet insurance in place.

Isaiah also has another beautiful XL Bully named Deebo, his first dog and loyal companion. Glo was meant to be Deebo’s best friend and his packmate. As many of us know, dogs are pack animals, and they thrive when they have companionship and love from their humans and from each other. Isaiah wanted to give Deebo a sister to grow up with, to play with, and to bond with.
