I’m Rachel, and this is my sweet boy Georgie. He’s only 3 years old — still so full of life, love, and purrs — and he’s truly the heart of my home.
We just received the devastating news that Georgie has large cell lymphoma in his throat. It’s aggressive, but treatable. His vet has recommended a 7-week course of chemotherapy that gives him a real shot at more time, more play, and more snuggles — and I’m determined to give him that chance.
The treatment plan will cost around $5,000 — a number that’s overwhelming on my own, but possible with the help of this incredible community. Every single dollar raised will go directly to Georgie’s medical care, giving him the best shot at recovery and more time doing what he does best: being the most loving, gentle, and comforting little soul.
Georgie has been by my side through so much. He curls up on my lap when I’m sad, meows dramatically for treats like he owns the place, and purrs like an engine when he’s happy — which is most of the time. He’s still fighting, and I’m fighting for him with everything I have. If you’re able to donate, thank you from the bottom of my heart. And if you can’t, sharing this page means more than you know.
With love and deep gratitude, Rachel & Georgie
