Hello friends, family and kind hearted strangers. I’m humbly asking for your help with my precious baby, my soul cat and best friend, George.

George has Feline Lower Urinary Tract Disease (FLUTD) which means he is prone to mineral build up in his bladder in the form of crystals. These crystals form quickly and lead to painful urinary blockages. These blockages are an emergency situation as the blocked urine is trapped and quickly starts to damage the kidneys. Cats usually cannot survive more than 2-3 days if the blockage goes untreated with hospitalization and/or surgery if the blockages are recurrent.

George has become blocked for the 4th time and is currently being treated at the Vet Emergency Hospital and if his condition worsens, he will need surgery.

Vet bills are so expensive and, this being his 4th episode, it absolutely shatters me that I can’t afford to pay for the care he needs this time around.
