Save George Henry Balmes

George Henry is a beautiful 12-month old European Basset Hound who was born with a congenital disease that does not allow him to consume any protein.  The owners have spent many thousands of dollars on testing, specialist care and food.  George Henry in currently at OU school of Vet Medicine waiting to undergo surgery to implant not one but multiple shunts in his liver. Once the surgery is completed, George Henry will lead a completely healthy life, without the surgery, George Henry will die .  Most dogs die of this congenital disease because the surgery is cost prohibitive.  The surgery and after care will run close to 15K  We are asking for help for George Henry.  Please donate directly to OSU under the account of Lisa Balmes, for George Henry
