Help Hanan & Her Widowed Mother Survive Gaza’s Genocide"

My name is Ghandi Alsayed Yahia, a privet carer from Cardiff/UK. I’m fundraising for Sadeen my friend’s niece, a widowed mother in Gaza, and her 8-month-old baby Hanan.
Sadeen a mother in Gaza watching her baby Hanan fade from hunger.

As you read this, she hasn’t eaten today. For just $10, you can feed her for a week. Please—help them survive this genocide.

Beneficiary: Sadeen (Hanan’s mother), a widow whose husband died shortly after Hanan’s birth.
Location: Khan Younis, Gaza Strip (A tent in the Mawasi area of Khan Yunis).
My Relationship: I’m a volunteer assisting them through my friend, Sadeen’s uncle, who is also supporting them remotely.

How Funds Will Be Used:
Food: Powdered milk, bread, canned goods ($15/week).
Medical Care: Diapers, antifungal creams, pain relief ($10/week).
Shelter: Tent repairs, winter blankets ($20/month).
Urgent Needs: Baby clothes, mosquito nets.

Added Transparency Section (to comply with GoFundMe):
I’m a civilian with no ties to any organization or conflict.
Funds will go only to Sadeen and Hanan’s survival needs.

Final Plea:
I beg you—help me buy Hanan one more day of life. $30 covers her weekly food and medicine. Share this campaign if you can’t donate. Your kindness is their only hope. Alhamdulillah.

This is Sadeen's story:
I’m a mother in Gaza watching my baby Hanan fade from hunger.
Our journey of death, hardship, and exhaustion continues. We returned to Khan Younis, where our homes once stood—now completely destroyed. We set up tents that shield us neither from the scorching summer heat nor the bitter winter cold. (Last week, Hanan burned with fever as temperatures hit 44°C/111°F inside our tent. We now sleep on the street to avoid heatstroke.)

Fate had it that I became pregnant with my first child, and my heart ached deeply. To bring a child into this relentless, unjust war—a genocide against us—felt unbearable. My prayers turned entirely into pleas for this cruel war to end, for this massacre to stop, for the rivers of blood surrounding us to cease flowing. Yet, shamefully, the international community remains silent as the bodies of civilians and children scatter the streets, and suffering persists.

My innocent daughter grew inside me, and I would whisper to her, "Allah will relieve us. He will deliver us from this ordeal." But life has become harder than any human could imagine. As my due date approached, I went to the market searching for baby clothes—only to find nothing in her size. If by chance something was available, prices were inflated tenfold, far beyond reach. (A single baby bottle costs $25—a month’s income for most here.) I returned to the tent, eyes brimming with tears, my heart trembling with grief. I couldn’t even provide the bare necessities for my baby, born into this cruel, oppressive reality. Relatives gave me used clothes to wrap her in, to shield her from the summer heat and winter cold. Alhamdulillah.

I resorted to using torn cloth and plastic bags as substitutes, but they gave my baby rashes and fungal infections. (The doctor said Hanan needs medicated cream—its price? 3 days’ worth of food. I had to choose between her pain and her hunger.)

No words can capture this suffering. Every day, I weep in helpless sorrow. My child and I have no one but Allah—and whoever still holds a shred of mercy in their heart. I can’t even feed myself; we live in true famine under unjust prices. My baby, Hanan, is now eight months old and constantly sick. There’s no food, no clothes that fit her. Used garments cost dozens of times their normal price. Occasionally, I visit relatives to beg for hand-me-downs from children lost in this vile war. Some give what they can—worn but better than nothing.

With no other options, I registered with GoFundMe, thanks to relatives outside Gaza, hoping for help to keep my baby and me alive. I beg you—please, if you can, help me, even with the smallest amount. A tiny stone can keep a boulder from collapsing. (Donate now or share this campaign. Your kindness is the only.
