Gator has been in my life for almost 10 years. Early on he had urinary issues and he’s been on a specialized diet for years. My worst fear happened 4/30/25 and during a vet visit they discovered stones were in his bladder and causing a partial blockage in his urethra. I thought he had another urinary tract infection but this is the worst end of the spectrum. Dr. McHarg and her staff at Sage Pet Hosptial are helping me save some money by treating him partially to save costs when he is transferred to a surgeon. This surgery is an emergency and must happen. He is such an important piece of my life and such a special cat who loves all of our dogs and my 2 year old daughter so much. We will do whatever we need to do Gator gets the help needed. I work in animal welfare and rescue many animals who need specialized care. Emergencies like this happen but any assistance with extreme costs will help our family. We are being transferred to SAVES where the high end estimate is $8240 + our charges at Sage Pet Hospital. Please share and donate anything you can so I can save my Gator boy.
