Save Gaby's Life: Urgent Heart Transplant

My name is Katie, and I’m reaching out on behalf of my beautiful sister, Gaby.

Gaby is in her 20s and is one of the most loving, selfless people I know. She’s also a single mother, doing everything she can to raise her child with strength, grace, and unwavering love. But right now, Gaby is in the fight of her life.

Gaby was born with a serious congenital heart condition called Hypertrophic Obstructive Cardiomyopathy (HOCM)—a disease that causes the heart muscle to thicken abnormally, making it harder for the heart to pump blood. Over the years, she’s faced challenges most of us could never imagine. But despite the chest pain, fatigue, and constant uncertainty, Gaby has never stopped being the bright, caring woman who lights up any room and puts her child first no matter what.

Now, her condition has worsened. Doctors have told us that without life-saving procedures and ultimately a heart transplant, Gaby will not survive. Her heart is failing, and we are running out of time.

What’s standing in the way? Money.

As a single mom, Gaby does not have the financial means to cover the astronomical costs of the surgeries, hospital stays, medications, and long-term care that she so desperately needs. Insurance can only go so far—and it’s nowhere near enough.
