Save Friday from Lymphoma
Donation protected
One cold Friday night in 2017, six college students found an abandoned puppy under a park bench. Not many friend groups get to have the love of a dog to glue them together forever, but we got oh, so very lucky. Our luck took the shape of a sweet and goofy pup named Friday.
Four years later, our little family of 6-and-growing is now scattered across the US, with Friday stationed in Virginia as a registered emotional support animal for one of his mamas. But—however long-distance our family must be— together we remain Friday's Parents. Sturdy, like his whole perfect chunky body.
In October of 2021, Friday was diagnosed with lymphosarcoma. He is only 4 years old.
It took a village family to raise him into the fine young man he is today, but we are not rich. Friday needs to start chemo immediately. He brought light and joy into our lives the night we found him, and still every day since.
Think Scooby Doo. The Mystery Gang is not complete without Scooby; And while we are, forever, Friday's Parents, it is hard to think of our family as complete without him.
Lymphoma is, unfortunately, a common and aggressive form of cancer in dogs. Survival rates without treatment max out around six months. With your help, it's possible we can buy him another 12 months or more.
Tomorrow (Nov 10, 2021), he is headed to the oncologist for additional diagnostics and to start chemotherapy. Funds raised here will go directly to his treatments, any supplies or accommodations to care for him at home, gas to get to appointments, and any other expenses that arise relating to his condition.
Please donate and share so we can save our boy.
